DIRECTOR: Nicole Clark, a former Elite International model, chose to make this documentary to help bring about positive change in the media. Through her travels, via the modeling industry, she gained valuable insights into the inner workings of the fashion & advertising worlds. Now she steps forward with her new documentary to share her knowledge with girls and women around the globe.

"Being thin, pretty and sexy and having lots of 'stuff' is not what brings happiness. Yet this is the fervent message young girls receive hundreds of times every day. It's time to step up and be responsible about what is important in life and have integrity in the media/advertising world. The media has jumped on the bandwagon with "Eco-friendly" so now it's time to "Truth to Youth".

"Children are our future and if we continue to spread the illusion of happiness and sell at any cost then our future is not going to be pretty. Let's raise a country of girls who desire to follow their hearts, to be noble and use their skills to help others and whose parents honor and praise them to develop their character and intellect rather than appearance."

A vast majority of media has evolved or rather devolved dramatically in the past two decades and it's time to re-evaluate the distance we put between it and ourselves. Before starting this documentary I wasn't aware of how far gone things were. What can be done to bring about positive change? What can you do? One important aspect to this documentary is that it offers substantial solutions anyone can implement
.
We have to educate our youth about things of true importance to them and to their world. The first step is breaking the hypnotic spell they are under - the spell that has them more concerned with their looks, being sexy and owning the latest and greatest. Then we will have a society with a meaningful and bright future.
